High Artist Spotlight: Alejandro Sordi

Alejandro Sordi is a self-taught interdisciplinary plastic artist. Explorer of painting, digital illustration, sculpture and sound. My quest is to represent magical, mystical visions and beings that inhabit the depths of the imagination. This universe is made up of ancestral, present, future iconography and cosmic colors.
We recently caught up with Alejandro after High Art 2022 to learn more about his most recent inspirations:

Where do you find your creative inspiration?
I find my inspiration in ancient cultures and master plants.

Why do you do what you do?
To share my vision with the network.

What art/artist do you most identify with?
I don't have it defined, I like a lot of different artists.

What themes do you pursue the most?
In general, I work with the themes of healing and expansion of consciousness.

What role does an artist have in society?
That of symbolically transcribing ideas and actions that take place in the unconscious network.

What is your artistic outlook on life?
Art and life are the same path, there is no separation.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Patience, everything has a maturation time.

Do you listen to music while you are creating? If yes, tell us your favorite song and artist.
Music is present in all my pieces, I can't imagine images without music.
Lately electronic sounds and drums are the stars of my days.

What's the best thing about being an artist?
Being able to work when I want, where I want and giving my best at all times :)

What is your dream project?
Create a temple, from the architectural to the pieces that are inside, a space for contemplation and connection with the divine.
