High Artist Spotlight: ApocalyptoArt
Onumaegbu Stanley also known as apocalyptoart is a self taught artist with a degree in chemical engineering from Nigeria. Growing up in a loving community set the tone for the messages he seeks to pass through his paintings. He works mainly with oils, acrylics and charcoals occasionally diving into mixed media. He hopes to share happiness through his art and inspire the younger generation to go after their dreams.

Where do you find your creative inspiration?
Nature and music
Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do because it brings me inner joy and peace. I also love to inspire people to outdo themselves and aim for greatness

What role does an artist have in society?
An artist should ask relevant questions that can inspire change and uplift spirits.
What is your artistic outlook on life?
I like to create a world as it should be, this offers me a form of escape into the surreal. I try to see life from a birds eye view so I can recreate experiences as reminders and memories
