High Artist Spotlight: Asif Al Mahmood
Asif Al Mahmood hails from the small town of Chittagong in Bangladesh. He holds a postgraduate degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC). Despite his academic background, Asif is not a professional artist; he identifies as an amateur in the field.
His journey into art began quite unexpectedly. One day, while browsing the internet, he stumbled upon an art contest. Intrigued, he decided to participate and promptly began drawing on his laptop. Eventually, he submitted his artwork to the competition.
Asif is deeply passionate about art and creation. Inspired by nature and fueled by a vivid imagination, he has produced a plethora of remarkable art pieces. One of these pieces even stands a chance of being selected in the final round of the High Art contest. His artwork is not only visually appealing but also interactive, capable of engaging the human mind in real-time conversations.
Looking ahead, Asif dreams of producing more creative works. He is confident that platforms like art contests can offer him the opportunity to showcase his talent. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Asif is a dedicated, flexible, and reliable individual in his professional life. Where do you find your creative inspiration?
I usually listen to music and walk in the world of imagination to find my inspiration.

I am not an artist by profession, but I love it. Art is my passion.

Leonardo da Vinci (Mona Lisa).

Love and Nature.
What role does an artist have in society?
Artists provide creative, intellectual, and emotional sustenance for society.
What is your artistic outlook on life?
Life is art. We create what we want and work towards our dreams.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Always listen to your heart. Never give up. And keep doing what you are passionate about.
