High Artist Spotlight: Emma Badia
Emma Badia is a 2D FX animator living in Vancouver, Canada. When not working in tv, she does freelance illustration and makes brightly colored, heavily patterned, somewhat psychedelic digital and acrylic paintings. Her art takes inspiration from a lifelong love of film, travel around the world, and the strange and beautiful forms found in nature.

Q: Where do you find your creative inspiration?
A: "Travel, nature, food, film, emotions."
Q: Why do you do what you do?
A: "Because I don’t enjoy doing anything else"

A: "Hayan Miyazaki"
Q: What role does an artist have in society?
A: "To create things that elicit an emotional or philosophical response in other people "
Q: What is your artistic outlook on life?
A: "I enjoy constantly learning new techniques, pushing my style further, and making things that look nice"
