High Artist Spotlight: Eric Takukam
Eric TAKUKAM is an digital artist, and Advertising Art Director based in Cameroon. Graphic & Textile Designer, Digital He is the founder of the brands: Bo Tchad (www.botchad.com), Numta et Froma.He has over 16 years of experience art and advertising industry.In 2013, he interned at the famous Parisian design studio, NTE (Nous Travaillons Ensemble). Working with creatives at the NTE studio exposed him lengthily to socially engaged art and book publishing. He was the graphic designer for “Vivre Ensemble”; an educative art project sponsored by the French embassy in Chad.In 2013, he received an aspirational artist award from publishing house, Nathan France, in the “Art Category” for textbooks for final year primary school pupils in French-speaking African countries.

Where do you find your creative inspiration?
Immagination and my day to day living

because i love doing it. It's all about passion.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Be open mind and focus completely doing what i love.

I listen to music whenever i create. My favorite song is 'Kora Bali' of the legend 'Toumani Diabate'

What's the best thing about being an artist?
Being a cocreator in this universe is a great privilege. We feel like God extension for real !
