High Artist Spotlight: Güicho Núñez
Güicho Núñez was born on November 20, 1982, in Mexico City where he develops his work which transits on the creation of details, characters or situations that might as well be part of a fantastic world in which the urban and nature are part of the same organism. He studied Integral design at the School of Design at the National Institute of Fine Arts (México), where his enjoyment for creating moving image was born, although much of its learning in this area has been self obtained, supplemented with various workshops on illustration, design and animation. He founded in 2009 together with other artists 'Viumasters' a multifaceted animation collective characterized by a craftsman style. Influenced to make his own multidisciplinary exploration in his own artistic work, he has since experimented with various techniques, ranging from photography, drawing, sculpture, video and animation.
