High Artist Spotlight: Kating Egepe

Kating Egepe is an artist from Indonesia. He started his career as a canvas artist but in 2013 he started moving to digital until now. He usually does artwork for album covers, t-shirts, layouts, book covers and etc. When he's bored with digital art he goes back to traditional art to restore the mood to work.

Why do you do what you do?
because what I do is part of my hobby and it's really fun

What role does an artist have in society?
In my opinion, it is very influential because a work can change a person's imagination and other creative things

What is your artistic outlook on life?
everything in this world is an extraordinary work of art, sometimes I am amazed when I see an image and think about how this work can be created

If you love art, make him a life partner who always accompanies your life journey

yes,if im make artwork im usually listen to jazz, blues, rock, acoustic and ect but what I prefer is instrumental music like the work of musician joe satriani

What's the best thing about being an artist?
the best thing about being an artist is a free life without any element of pressure from anywhere

What is your dream project?
working on cover designs for dream bands such as AC DC, Joe satriani, rolling stone, foofighter and ect
