High Artist Spotlight: Lebogang Maphanga

Lebogang Maphanga is a South African based Artist, Designer and Illustrator. Her creative style is eclectic. She experiences with different mediums and styles. She is inspired by the human form, nature, music, films and technology. The colour theme that she always leans towards are earthy colours (yellows, oranges and browns).Her favourite creative avenue is digital painting. She is a firm believer in following one’s passion, that is the driving factor of what she does. Passion helps her show off her artistic prowess and pride in her work. She views art as more than a career, It is her vocation, hence she strives to create an experience with her work. She wants to evoke an emotion in the audience – whether joy, peace, a strength and even that whimsy feel.
