High Artist Spotlight: Manuel Rubín

Manuel Rubín born in 1975 in the city of La Plata, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Bachelor and professor in Plastic Arts, Painting Orientation, Faculty of Fine Arts, National University of La Plata, Argentina. He received the “Joaquín V. González” distinction granted by the Municipality of La Plata to the best graduate averages and his thesis was declared of cultural interest by the same entity. Author of the “Chromatic Opposition Theory” participating in National and International Congresses. He was a jury and curator of numerous contests and individual and collective exhibitions. He exhibited in more than 200 individual and collective exhibitions, in Argentina, Italy, Israel, Chile, Brazil and the United States. He won awards in Argentina and Spain. His work is part of the Museum of Contemporary Latin American Art (MACLA) and the Cartier Art Museum (MACA) My future project is to perfect myself in the description of my particular universe, to continue offering the viewer a space of contemplation where they travel to their inner being. I want to spread my art to fulfill this purpose.

A: In the universal order of nature, I am always accompanied by jazz and philosophy

A: Because it is a way to eternalize myself, leaving the best of me

A: Biotopes, where flora and fauna coexist
