High Artist Spotlight: Matt Jones

Matt Jones, an artist with a lifelong passion for painting, had a transformative moment in 2000 when he witnessed live painting for the first time. This experience ignited his creative spirit, allowing him to channel his artistry spontaneously through the energy of music and the ambiance of his surroundings.

Since that pivotal moment, Matt has collaborated with numerous bands, becoming a regular live painter at the High Sierra Music Festival. His art falls under the category of "figurative abstract," brought to life with acrylic paint on canvas.

His inspiration draws from a deep well of influences, including his love for music, the serenity of waves, the thrill of fishing, and an abundance of love. Matt's creations evoke powerful emotions, characterized by vivid colors with a psychedelic allure. They possess a remarkable LED reactivity and a striking 3D effect that sets them apart.
