High Artist Spotlight: Michelle Nobles

Michelle Nobles is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer. She likes to work with fairly limited color palettes and focus on line work and shapes.
She's always loved fantasy and fairies in particular. 'Fairy Flights' was roughly inspired by Fantasia. Specifically the part where the snowflake fairies are falling down through the sky. She loves that imagery and wanted to make something with a similar feel.

We recently asked Michelle some questions about her inspirations:

Q: Where do you find your creative inspiration?

A: "From nature and all the fantastic artists in the world. I love being able to see everyones unique creativity. "

Q: Why do you do what you do?

A: "Art is a great form of expression and a way to bring a little happiness into the world."

Q: What art/artist do you most identify with?

A: "I really love and am inspired by Tom Haugomat's work. His expert use of shape and color is at a level I hope to be at someday. "

Q: What role does an artist have in society?

A: "A very important one. Art is all around us at our fingertips today. It helps convey things that words alone cannot sometimes and it's the artist's job to make that magic work somehow."

Q: What is your artistic outlook on life?

A: "Optimistic. I love to keep learning and improving and seeing what people can come up with. "

Q: What is your dream project?

A: "I would love to learn animation someday to bring things to life on a whole other level."
