High Artist Spotlight: Onin

Onin started his journey at a very young age. Dreams were always a fascinating subject for him since he would lucid dream and interact with his dreams. All these worlds and visuals provided an inspiration for his art. He would try his best to paint from his heart instead of from his head. For him art has to be uplifting for the human soul. He is very spiritual (not religious) and respects the connection we all have with this earth, the universe and our human family. His art is free of interpretation even though he has an intention he knows that once the art leaves the studio it becomes its own entity and interacts and speaks to others in unforeseen ways leaving the channels open for new interpretations. What role does an artist have in society?

to uplift the human spirit, to bring things into form that have no words

life is our canvas

What advice would you give to your younger self?

honor your inner voice, have a stoic discipline, and focus on your craft
