High Artist Spotlight: ROAU

ROAU is a self-taught freelance illustrator and designer. Human figure is his favourite art subject. He is on a creative journey experimenting different styles and consistent learning, to discover his personal style.

Where do you find your creative inspiration?
Humans, emotions, nature, internet and other art mediums.

Why do you do what you do?
An artist is a creator. Creation is powerful. It transforms, educates, and inspires.

What art/artist do you most identify with?
Digital illustration.

What themes do you pursue the most?
Love.

What role does an artist have in society?
An artist can use their creative power to inspire and provoke thought, to challenge norms and create new realities.

What is your artistic outlook on life?
Trust your passion. Learn and act consistently to hone your craft.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Keep exploring and never stop learning. You’ll find your unique path.
