High Artist Spotlight: Ronin Gang

Damián Alejandro Linares, also known as Ronin Gang, is a visionary digital and multidisciplinary artist born in Buenos Aires in 1983. He studied Fine Arts and Digital Social Communication in La Plata and has been creating unique and innovative works of art that combine digital and traditional elements ever since. 
Through his art, Ronin Gang explores themes such as nature, magic, and human evolution. His works create an emotional and introspective atmosphere that invites the viewer to reflect and discover new meanings.
Currently, Damián works in his studio, exploring new techniques and styles that reflect his vision of the world. His work has been exhibited in various galleries and cultural spaces, and has been recognized for its originality and ability to inspire the viewer. Ronin Gang is an artist who seeks to convey a positive message through his art and connect with the essence of life.
We recently caught up with Ronin after High Art 2023 to learn more about his most recent inspirations:

Where do you find your creative inspiration?

In nature, in people, in magic, and in the universe.

Why do you do what you do?

Because I feel a burning flame inside me.

What art/artist do you most identify with?

Surrealism and visionary art.

What themes do you pursue the most?

Tribal people, spirituality, and the future.

What role does an artist have in society?

The most important role. Can you imagine a society without art? It would be a disaster.

What is your artistic outlook on life?

The beauty of the mystery of life and death and the search for the unknown.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Never doubt yourself.

To work with tribal people and with people with less opportunities to make them feel better through art.
