High Artist Spotlight: Sam Ramteke

Sam Ramteke started his career since childhood as an social worker. He started drawing and painting social issues in his city of Nagpoor, India. After developing his interest in arts and creativity, he applied to J.J. School of Arts College for a further degree in applied arts. Now he is working in digital visual arts, as an illustrator, art director and concept maker in some production houses.
We recently caught up with Sam after High Art 2023 to learn more about his most recent inspirations:

Where do you find your creative inspiration?

It is in my soul and my observation

Why do you do what you do?

I want to portray my inner ideas to world

Salvador Dali

What themes do you pursue the most?

Surrealism’s

What role does an artist have in society?

Artis is a mirror image of society

What is your artistic outlook on life?

Life very creative in all directions

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Come and contribute to arts aspects
