High Artist Spotlight: SuperSweatyFish

SuperSweatyFish is a Graphic Design graduate in Liberty University. His goal is to become an Illustrator and animator. His love for drawing began when he was bored in a classroom as a child when he found himself doodling on notebooks, and test papers, like any other kid. He regrets giving up on drawing after high school but now he firmly believe any passion can be turn into a career.
We recently caught up with SuperSweatyFish after High Art 2022 to learn more about his most recent inspirations:
-
Where do you find your creative inspiration?
When I stay still in a quiet room. With no distractions, no music, no phone, my mind just fills with so many thoughts and imagination. I use some of those for inspiration for my next project. I believe everyone is capable of this thought process but people don't let their brain have a quiet moment to even try.

Another way is having a goal like the high art competitions. Gives me something to look forward.
-
Why do you do what you do?
Want to work as an Illustrator. I want to be able to express myself while I work rather than being a zombie and doing the same thing over and over again.
-
What themes do you pursue the most?
Freestyle cartoon base on imagination and feeling
-
What role does an artist have in society?
To inspired creativity and to show that everyone has the ability to be an artist.

What is your artistic outlook on life?
Observing life and enjoy the little thing we have for our life is short.

Don't be afraid to try, or do, something new. And be yourself, it doesn't matter what other people think for one day they will forget but you'll always remember the day you wish you were yourself.
