-
Where do you find your creative inspiration?
I’m a creator inspired by emotions. I get a lot of my inspiration from things around me as well, but most of it is motivated byway I feel in that very moment. Then I go into a meditative trance like place and let it all out. Sometimes I look up from what I was creating and go, “Wait, I did that? Wild!”
-
Why do you do what you do?
I create because its therapeutic and I honestly just want to show people what goes on in this little brain of mine.
-
What art/artist do you most identify with?
I can’t say that I identify with any specific artists or type of art, but The art of M.C. Escher and Salvador Dali are a big inspiration.
-
What themes do you pursue the most?
Psychedelic, ethereal, surreal, queer, emotions
-
What role does an artist have in society?
I think an artists role in society is story telling, creating joy, interaction and inspiration in communities to have a conversation and bring people together for the possibility of change for the greater good.
-
What is your artistic outlook on life?
My artistic outlook on life, my sense of life, and in my art include my values, my ethics, and my morals. It includes my sense of freedom. I examine what I commit to and make sure that who ever is looking at my work is benefitting my actions on the canvas. Not doing so, effects all of those things and effects uniqueness.
-
What advice would you give to your younger self?
I would tell myself to be kind to yourself. Not everything will be a challenging and time for you and things do get better. Also, those challenges that you’ve faced along the way have shaped who you are as a person and reflects in your creative and artistic self. Love yourself sooner if you can.
-
Do you listen to music while you are creating? If yes, tell us your favorite song and artist.
I listen to music almost every time I create!

Cry Alone - Cydnee with a C
IM U - Beacon
Horns - X-COAST

What's the best thing about being an artist?

What is your dream project?
