High Artist Spotlight: Vera Kusheva

Russian artist Vera Kusheva is a very passionate cannabis fanatic, living in a country unfriendly to weed. Despite that, she will go all the way, fulfilling her dream of being a cannabis artist. Vera is multifaceted - she paints oil paintings, graphics, acrylics, digital illustrations. She makes interior and furniture decorated designs clothing. She goes to the gym and studies several languages, meditates and studies alchemy . Vera also has a higher art education. Favorite themes of inspiration for her work are cannabis, hip hop, nature, art history, philosophy, ethnicity, sacred geometry and alchemy. Her favorite artist is Salvador Dali, her favorite writer is Carlos Castaneda, and her favorite rapper - Snoop Dogg.

Q: Where do you find your creative inspiration?

A: "Music (rap, techno), art history, philosophy, cannabis, alchemy, magic, experience."

Q: Why do you do what you do?

A: "All roads go nowhere. So, the whole point is in the road itself, how to walk along it ... If you walk with pleasure, then this is your road. If you feel bad, you can get off with her at any moment, no matter how far you go. And it will be right. 

I really like being an artist, this is my meaning of life."

A: "Salvador Dali, Mr. Cartoon."

Q: What role does an artist have in society?

A: "The artist inspires people. Inspires to be yourself, to the freedom of creativity. The artist brings aesthetic pleasure. Brilliant artists make you think about great, philosophical thoughts. They leave a trace in history and an imprint of the time in which they lived."

Q: What is your artistic outlook on life?

A: "I can color and give new life to anything. Everything I touch blooms, because I feel the divine presence of the creator."

A: "Believe in yourself and act decisively!
