High Artist Spotlight: Vicktor Antonov

Vicktor Antonov is a 24-year-old Bulgarian artist, illustrator, graphic designer and scenographer. Ever since he graduated in children’s toys design from Sofias National Applied Arts High School, he has explored different parts of the adventure that is called art. He even studied set and costume design at the National Art Academy.

Combining his deep-seated interests in visual culture and his long time creative aid of reading copious amounts of history, he has started venturing into projects like “The Festival Of Lights” in Berlin, which projected his pani-projections onto the most famous buildings of the city like the Berliner Dom, the Sparkasse Building and the Steglitz City Hall. He has also done concept art for museums, part of culturally developing EU projects, which were later animated and displayed all across Bulgaria’s museums.

All in all, he decided to become independent. Chase his dreams and make art the way he wants to do art and the way he sees art.
