High Artist Spotlight: Winnie

Zhiqing Lin (Winnie) is an illustration student based in NYC, and is currently in her senior year majoring in the illustration BFA program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is passionate about exploring different forms of visual expression and has developed her skills in various techniques such as traditional drawing, painting, digital illustration, and animation. One of her greatest strengths as an illustrator is her ability to tell stories through her art. Her work often incorporates both traditional and digital media to create illustrations with elements of fantasy and fairytales.

Where do you find your creative inspiration?
I find my creative inspiration in nature and outlook in life.

Why do you do what you do?
My love for illustration began at a young age when I would spend hours drawing and painting in my spare time. As I got older, I realized that my passion for illustration was something I wanted to pursue professionally.
